  • Japanese Acupuncture

Japanese acupuncture is a traditional healing practice that is based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) but has evolved over centuries in Japan to have its own unique characteristics and techniques. Japanese acupuncture is known for its gentle and refined approach, which sets it apart from other acupuncture styles like Chinese acupuncture.

  • NeoClassical Acupuncture

NeoClassical Acupuncture is a contemporary approach to acupuncture that combines traditional acupuncture principles with a modern understanding of anatomy, physiology and physics. Developed by Dr Slate Burris in the 21st Century, it emerged from a new understanding of 11th Century texts. This system is is based on working with the deepest elements of acupuncture.

  • Dry Needling

Dry Needling aims to release muscle tension, improve blood flow, and alleviate pain by triggering the body’s natural pain-relieving mechanism and healing response. This technique is based on modern anatomical and neurophysiological principles and may be used in conjunction with other manual therapy techniques to enhance its effectiveness.

  • Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a traditional healing technique within traditional Chinese medicine. It is a form of heat therapy, involving the burning of a herb (moxa) near specific acupuncture points or areas of the body to stimulate healing and promote well-being. Moxa is the dried leaf of the plant Artemisia Vulgaris commonly known as mugwort, or Ai ye in Chinese medicine.

  • Remedial Massage Therapy

Remedial massage is a therapeutic and hands-on form of massage therapy designed to address specific musculoskeletal issues, alleviate pain, and improve overall physical well-being.

  • Horstmann Technique

The Horstmann Technique (HT), is a simple and gentle bodywork therapy developed in 1995 by Australian naturopath Trish Trowbridge - it is now used all over the world. This work aims to promote healing and wellness by releasing blockages developed in the body. These blockages can be identified by stiffness or pain, decreased range of motion, or weakness in the limbs. It may also be an emotional block such as recurring thoughts or the inability to move on after a distressing event.

  • Chinese Herbs

Chinese herbal therapy is a key component of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and involves the use of medicinal herbs to promote health, balance the body's energy (qi), and treat various ailments.

  • Flower Essence Therapy

Flower Essence Therapy is a type of mind-body medicine, using highly-diluted liquid extracts from the flowers of wild plants. Some people find that taking flower essences can improve negative thoughts and emotions.

  • Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes the body’s own healing. It is performed by the practitioner “laying on hands”, or holding their hands over various parts of the patient’s body as they lie on a table in comfortable clothing.
